Skills4Real defines and provides learning and assessment approaches for high level skills. This has been developed from many years work within technical and business contexts. 

Examples of high level skills include creativity, design, experimentation, analysis, planning, problem solving, decision making, management and project management.

The significance of skills learning and development is that such skills are stable and can carry on being developed througout the whole of a person's life.

In addition, such skills can be applied in multiple contexts, multiple technologies and related fields of knowledge.

Within a world in which there are rapidly increasing quantities and changes to a human knowledge base, there is a need to spend more time on skills development during the formative education period.
